Join in the opening celebration of Love+Unity Week where art and music come together in this unifying experience! Hosted by Councilwoman Tammy Williams, the community is invited to create sidewalk chalk drawings with messages of Love +Unity while enjoying music and a special performance by West Orange legendary artist, Kevin Brooks.

Community Fun Day

Celebrate Love+Unity Week at the the official kick off event hosted by Washington Elementary School. Enjoy an exciting performance by Latin artist, Nestor Martinez. PLUS join the dance party as international choreographers lead us all in fun dances from cultures around the world! Come out with family and friends to enjoy a lively night of Fun, games, music, live entertainment and more as we kick off Love+Unity Week!

Share Your Story

Location: St. Cloud Elementary School

Join the  St. Cloud Diversity Council to meet a collective of diverse authors and listen as they read their books to all.  Also, meet special guest author, Jennifer Jones , the first African American Radio City Music Hall Rockette, as she reads her book, “On The Line”. Also, there will be a community art project and opportunities for everyone to share their own story through art, writing, or music!

Food Trucks, Vendors, Family fun, and exciting Live Music and Dance performances from Hip-Hop, Rock, R&B, Pop, Jazz, Reggae, Latin, House Music, and more! Don’t miss the finale’ performance of 100 Voices of Love+Unity – comprised of the West Orange student choral community who will join together with first-ballot Grammy Nominated Artist & Founder, Carl Brister for an unforgettable performance.
